Young Steinway Artist Sandra Ho Suet POON has performed and gave seminars extensively in the States, Europe and Asia. She has appeared in festivals and concert series such as the Prague International Piano Institute, John Cage Centennial Festival, Dayton Art Institute Musicales Series, Troy-Hayner Cultural Center Chamber Series, Hong Kong Citibank’s Musical Del Cuore, The Hong Kong Anglican Church’s Celeste Series, Macao International Music Festival, Macau Vocal Festival and Asia-Pacific Symposium for Music Education Research. She has been invited to perform concertos with the Macao Orchestra and Wright State University Chamber Orchestra. Poon has world-premiered character pieces arranged by Clara Schumann and concerto by Malaysian composer Jun Yi Chow with Ruan master Boonyeow Choo. She has joined the world premiere performance of Symphony No. 10 by Chinese composer Wang Xilin and Symphonic Poem "500 Years of Macau" by Macau composer Lam Bun-Ching. Her live recording has broadcasted at the Radio Television Hong Kong.

Poon is currently teaching at Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College, and also serves as guest keyboardist of the Macao Orchestra and Macao Chinese Orchestra. She is frequently invited as jury member in different competitions. Besides performing and teaching, she is an active emcee/host and interpreter in different music events.
